Tind

Tind is the highest of the houses at Sommarbukt, sitting directly on the Ulsfjord, around one hour from Tromsø, north of the Arctic Circle in Northern Norway. The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows frame an uninterrupted view across the fjord to the snow-capped peaks of the Lyngen Alps. It is the kind of view you do not forget.

The house sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms, including a cosy loft bedroom with a double bed. Underfloor heating and an open fireplace keep the house warm through the long Arctic winter. A fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room with a gallery level, and a private jetty just steps from the water make Tind a complete retreat in the wilderness.

Tind is one of the finest spots in the Tromsø region for watching the Northern Lights. Far from light pollution and surrounded by untouched nature, the nights here are something else entirely. In summer, the Midnight Sun takes over, casting the fjord in warm light well past midnight.

Tromsø Airport is 67 km away, the city itself around 50 minutes by car, offering restaurants, culture, and Arctic city life. Back at Tind, the silence is waiting.
