Bjørka stands closest to the water at Sommarbukt, on the Ulsfjord, around one hour from Tromsø, north of the Arctic Circle in Northern Norway. Where Tind looks out across the fjord from height, Bjørka sits at the water's edge — the same Lyngen Alps, seen from below, close enough to hear the tide.

The house sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms, including a loft with a telescope trained on the sky. Downstairs, a gallery level opens the living room upward, glass on every side facing the fjord. A wood stove holds the warmth through the Arctic winter. The kitchen sits flush against the window, so cooking and the view happen at the same time. A round mirror and a stone-tiled shower give the bathroom the feel of something carved rather than built.

Set apart from Tind by its lower, closer line to the water, Bjørka is where the Northern Lights meet their own reflection on the fjord. In summer, the Midnight Sun holds the water in light long after the hour suggests it should be dark.
